Basketball Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

Indiana School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They were dealt a 59-22 defeat at the hands of River City Jaguars. The Deaf Hoosiers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-10.

Joseph Johnson went supernova for River City Jaguars, going 5-for-9 on his way to 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Samuel Fejfer, who posted eight points.

Indiana School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for River City Jaguars, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Looking ahead, Indiana School for the Deaf will challenge Anderson Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. River City Jaguars does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
