Soccer Recap: South Lake Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Lake can now relate to. They lost 4-1 to the Horizon Hawks on Monday. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Savannah Reichl, who's now up to 18 this season.

South Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Horizon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

South Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Horizon, they will take on Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forest will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Horizon surely won't give up without a fight.
