            Baseball Recap: Point Pleasant Boro Panthers vs. Liberty Lions        
        
		
        
        
            Point Pleasant Boro won against Liberty  on Wednesday with 14  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Friday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp  14-4 victory. With that  win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.6  runs per game.
Point Pleasant Boro got a great performance from  Landon Hoyle as he  tossed five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   two  hits. Hoyle has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits any time he's  pitched this season.
