Basketball Game Preview: Bacon County Raiders vs. Thomasville Bulldogs

The Bacon County Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Thomasville Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Bacon County came up short against Worth County and fell 54-43. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bacon County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Makayla Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 boards, and Marnay'Jah Reynolds, who posted 19 points. Thomas has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more rebounds the last 17 times she's played.

Meanwhile, Thomasville also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Fitzgerald by a score of 46-38.

Bacon County will have to contain Jaleah Brown as she made an impact in Thomasville's last game. She put up ten points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Harmony Bryant, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten boards.

Bacon County's record now sits at 9-6. As for Thomasville, their record is now 8-7.
