Armstrong and Georgetown-Ridge Farm are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Trojans will host the Buffaloes at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Armstrong came up short against Westville on Friday, falling 13-1. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Georgetown-Ridge Farm came into Friday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over Chrisman on Friday.

Chloe Stephenson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Peyton McComas and Kaydence Kraus did most of the damage at the plate: McComas went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Kraus went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave McComas a new career-high. Madeline Nevels was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Armstrong, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Armstrong took their victory against Georgetown-Ridge Farm in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 14-5 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Buffaloes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
