West Lafayette's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Twin Lakes Indians 61-27. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading West Lafayette to victory were Amaya St. Hilaire and Cora Loveless. St. Hilaire dropped a double-double with 17 points and 19 boards, while Loveless went 8-for-17 en route to 18 points. Loveless continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Stella Smosna also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

West Lafayette smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 24 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Twin Lakes still got an impressive performance from Taylor Oliver, who posted 12 points. Kaitlyn Morgan was another key player, putting up six points.

West Lafayette's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Twin Lakes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

West Lafayette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-34 defeat against Rensselaer Central on the 22nd. As for Twin Lakes, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 45-37 loss against Lafayette Central Catholic on the 22nd.
