The Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions will head out to face off against the Bayless Bronchos at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Things were looking good for Cardinal Ritter College Prep after they put the first runs on the board last Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of East St. Louis by a score of 17-16. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bayless was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to Brentwood. The game marked the Bronchos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
