Soccer Recap: Murray vs. Jordan
It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Murray ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Jordan Beetdiggers out 1-0. The Spartans' winning goal came courtesy of Reese Workman.
The win got Murray back to even at 7-7. As for Jordan, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-6.
Murray will host Park City at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Park City knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Murray likes a good challenge. As for Jordan, they will head out to challenge Stansbury at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Stansbury will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Jordan surely won't give up without a fight.
