Grandview had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Varsity Opponent. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

Sebastian Williams paced Grandview's offense, picking up nine kills. Williams were helped by Jalen Ngo and Alan Uncal-Ramirez, who contributed six assists each. Shintaro Tanaka controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Grandview's victory bumped their record up to 12-10-2.

Looking ahead, Grandview will square off against Raymore-Peculiar at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Varsity Opponent, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Heritage on the 24th.
