Bella Duncan gave up the fewest walks she has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. Newman Central Catholic had no answer to Duncan as she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 19 over seven innings pitched. Duncan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than 17 strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Duncan and Morrison will head out on the road to square off against Sherrard at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Duncan has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (she's averaged 16.5 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Tigers have only allowed 2.5 per game this season.
