Football Recap: Loara Saxons vs. Pioneer Titans
Loara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by the Pioneer Titans 48-12.
Damian Salguero was a one-man wrecking crew for Pioneer as he rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Amiri Resendiz also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Loara's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pioneer, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loara will take on Beverly Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pioneer, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Magnolia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pioneer is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
