A District 7 recap October 8, 2013

Kiefer extended the longest winning streak in A District 7 this week by beating Depew, 61-8. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

Kiefer took down the Hornets 61-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Trey Sneed ran for 294 yards during the win.

Sneed was a beast in the backfield as Josh Calvert's team beat Depew.

Sneed was a passing and rushing force as the Trojans topped Neal Bacon's team. Sneed's favorite target this week was Trysten Edwards, who caught 2 passes for 70 yards.

Devion Saunders was the best wideout in the league this week as Yale fell to Barnsdall. Saunders racked up 4 receptions for 103 yards. Jake Holt helped Yale's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 12 yards.

Kiefer's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Trojans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justin Rovang has thrown for 625 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Edwards has 13 catches for 286 yards.

Kiefer's Sneed is a mere 88 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Sneed has rushed for 912 yards on 80 carries so far this year.

The Bulldogs are in third place, while Morrison is in second place.

The Trojans led the league in scoring this week by notching 61 points on the Hornets. Sneed ran for 294 yards in the win.
