Basketball Recap: Lewis County Takes a Loss

Lewis County lost against Hickman County two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lewis County Panthers were outmatched by the Hickman County Bulldogs and fell 74-12. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beonka Smith was Lewis County's leading scorer, having posted five points. Jaelin Baugh held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.

Lewis County's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Hickman County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Lewis County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-19 victory against Battle Creek on the 7th. As for Hickman County, they have also already played their next game, a 52-48 defeat against East Hickman County on the 7th.
