Volleyball Recap: Castle View Comes Up Short

Castle View was the 3-2 winner over Chatfield when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sabercats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers on Saturday.

Tabbetha Krupa paced Castle View's offense, picking up 13 kills. Krupa got some help from Kaiya Gilbert and her 36 assists. Gilbert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Castle View's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Chatfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Castle View will head out to face off against Dakota Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chatfield, they will face off against Rock Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
