Woodland had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. Everything went their way against the Destiny Christian Academy Lions as they made off with an 8-1 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on JoJo Quezada, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Cadotte, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Woodland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Destiny Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11-1.

Woodland has already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Rio Linda on the 28th. As for Destiny Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-2 defeat against Sutter on the 28th.
