Basketball Recap: Bluegrass Takes a Loss

Bluegrass lost against Kokomo HomeSchool back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bluegrass Blazers fell just short of the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles by a score of 58-55.

Kokomo HomeSchool got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jude Hogsett out in front who went 6-for-11 en route to 15 points. The matchup was Hogsett's third in a row with at least 15 points. Dane Beery was another key player, putting up 15 points and six rebounds.

Bluegrass' defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-9 record this season.

Bluegrass does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, they will square off against Anderson HomeSchool at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Anderson HomeSchool comes in on four and Kokomo HomeSchool on three.
