Liam Martin turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Saturday. He produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. He has become a key player for Rampart: the team is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 0-8 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Martin and Rampart are taking a road trip to square off against Cheyenne Mountain at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
