St. Bonaventure is a perfect 3-0 against Cate since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Seraphs will host the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

St. Bonaventure is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Pacifica just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tritons. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Seraphs were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Cate lost 15-1 to St. Bonaventure on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Seraphs: they've now lost three in a row.

Cate saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Casbarro, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Cate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Bonaventure, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.

St. Bonaventure's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Seraphs have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Cate, though, as they've been averaging only 0.6 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will St. Bonaventure continue to outrun the ball?

Everything went St. Bonaventure's way against Cate in their previous matchup on Tuesday, as St. Bonaventure made off with a 15-1 win. Will the Seraphs repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
