Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Loogootee walked away with it. They came out on top against the Shakamak Lakers by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Loogootee's record is now 14-16. As for Shakamak, they moved to 22-8 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Loogootee and Springs Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Shakamak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
