Basketball Recap: Clallam Bay Takes a Loss

Clallam Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Quilcene Rangers. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Rangers are ranked 42nd).

Clallam Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Quilcene, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Clallam Bay will venture away from home to take on Ilwaco at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Quilcene, they will be home for the holidays to greet Crescent at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
