The Lanier Longhorns will venture away from home to challenge Denmark at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lanier is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Lanier will head out to face Denmark after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Lanier fell just short of Milton by a score of 2-1. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Longhorns came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Eagles are ranked 183rd).

Lanier's goal came courtesy of Isabelle Aurelia, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Denmark made sure to put some goals up on the board against Dunwoody on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 5-1 win. The game marked Denmark's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Denmark has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 7-2.

Lanier might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Denmark in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Can Lanier avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
