Baseball Recap: North Thurston Has No Trouble Against Bethel

North Thurston barely beat Bethel the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. North Thurston's pitchers stepped up to hand Bethel a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. That looming 10-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rams yet this season.

Ethan Shaefer made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over 5.1 innings pitched. Shaefer was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, North Thurston let Kole French and Rudy Larson run wild. French scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Larson went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Albright, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
