Soccer Game Preview: Boylan Catholic vs. Rochelle

The Boylan Catholic Titans will square off against the Rochelle Hubs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boylan Catholic is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

Boylan Catholic's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Guilford. The result was nothing new for Boylan Catholic, who have now won ten games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Guilford with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gracie Adrian (5), Joscelyn Posada, and Zoey Schmidt.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rochelle, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Rockford Auburn 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for Rochelle as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Boylan Catholic's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those three matchups. As for Rochelle, their win bumped their record up to 9-15.

Boylan Catholic took their victory against Rochelle in their previous matchup back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hubs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
