Football Recap: Ponderosa Takes Down Silver Creek in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Ponderosa had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Silver Creek Raptors by a score of 27-14 on Friday. The Mustangs pushed the score to 27-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raptors cut but never quite recovered from.

Troy WcWhorter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 120 yards and one TD. Ponderosa is undefeated when WcWhorter posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 3-4 otherwise.

Ponderosa is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.2 points on average over those games. As for Silver Creek, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Ponderosa has already played their next game, a 35-21 loss against Durango on the 15th. Silver Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
