Basketball Recap: Jefferson Skates Past Hapeville Charter with Ease

Jefferson won the last time they faced Hapeville Charter and things went their way on Monday too. The Jefferson Dragons claimed a resounding 59-28 win over the Hapeville Charter Hornets. That looming 59-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Dragons yet this season.

Loss or not, Hapeville Charter got some senior leadership from D?Mari Jordan and Lyndale Roberts. Jordan posted seven points, while Roberts put up 11 points.

Jefferson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Hapeville Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.
