Manteca extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Graciela Torres. The Buffaloes walked away with a 14-6 victory over the Central Catholic Raiders on Thursday thanks in part to Torres, who rushed for 90 yards and one score. She also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making four total tackles and defending one pass.

Manteca didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Myah Hayter led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Tatum Kusy Penirian got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Manteca's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Manteca didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-6 loss against Sierra on the 30th. As for Central Catholic, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Patterson at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
