Volleyball Recap: Swansea Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Swansea faced off against Pelion on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 25-20.

Swansea's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pelion, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2-1.

Swansea will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Keenan at 6:45 p.m. on September 9. As for Pelion, they will head out on the road to take on Silver Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
