Baseball Recap: St. Dominic Comes Up Short

St. Dominic and Rockwood Summit squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but St. Dominic had to settle for second. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 9-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Crusaders in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

St. Dominic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Henke, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

St. Dominic's loss dropped their record down to 23-11-1. As for Rockwood Summit, they have been performing well recently as they've won 22 of their last 26 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Dominic nor Rockwood Summit have any future games scheduled.
