Volleyball Game Preview: Chaminade Eagles vs. Bishop Alemany Warriors

The Chaminade Eagles will challenge the Bishop Alemany Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Alemany took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Chaminade, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Chaminade was able to grind out a solid win over Notre Dame Academy, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Regal Gryphons: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Bishop Alemany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Harvard-Westlake, falling 3-0. Warriors fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wolverines since Tuesday.

Chaminade's win bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Bishop Alemany, their loss dropped their record down to 9-21.

Everything went Chaminade's way against Bishop Alemany when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Chaminade made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
