Volleyball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Concord lost against Hickory Ridge back in September of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spiders fell 3-1 to the Ragin' Bulls. The Spiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 22-25, 25-18.

Leah Williams paced Concord's offense, picking up five kills. Williams got some help from Adeline Fulton and her 13 assists. Fulton also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mckinley Williams, racking up two apiece.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hickory Ridge, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Concord has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against West Cabarrus on the 19th. As for Hickory Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Mooresville on the 21st.
