Illini Bluffs had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Midwest Central Raiders. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Illini Bluffs' win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Midwest Central, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Illini Bluffs will welcome Brimfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Midwest Central, they will head out on the road to take on Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
