Baseball Recap: Bainbridge's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Bainbridge ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Issaquah Eagles 6-5. That's two games straight that the Spartans have won by just one run.

The victory (which was Bainbridge's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Issaquah, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bainbridge will welcome Bremerton at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Issaquah, they will host North Creek at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Jaguars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
