Phoenix Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Bisbee Pumas by a score of 6-1. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 7-2 win the Pumas walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Kevin Palafox, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Zach Brigowatz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Phoenix Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bisbee, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Phoenix Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-2 win against Chino Valley on the 1st. As for Bisbee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against Phoenix Country Day on the 1st.
