A load of record-breakers from California highlight the list as football season winds down.

A national record breaker, a pair of California section record breakers and a pair of 300-yard rushers from the same team highlight this week's National Football Stat Stars.

Tre Watson of Centennial (Corona, Calif.) rushed for 519 yards and six touchdowns in an 86-56 playoff win over Upland as his team set a reported national record for offensive yardage in a single game with 946 yards.

Meanwhile Austin Clark of West Valley (Cottonwood, Calif.) rushed for 404 yards and six touchdowns in leading his team to a 56-28 win over Central Valley (Shasta Lake, Calif.) in the Northern Section Division II championship game. Clark's total gave him 2,406 yards on the season, breaking the section's single-season rushing yardage mark that had stood for 47 years.

Then there is Edgar Segura of Mendota (Calif.), who broke the Central Section record for career rushing after gaining 323 yards in a 45-0 playoff win over Firebaugh. Segura, who already has the section record for career touchdowns with 134, has 7,766 career rushing yards, according to the Fresno Bee and Central Section historian Bob Barnett.

Need more? Damen Wheeler registered 380 receiving yards for Sacramento (Calif.), a state record.

In Portland, Central Catholic had the rare occurrence of two 300-yard rushers in the same game. Cameron Scarlett ran for 356 yards and five touchdowns on just 15 carries while Ryan Nall rushed for 320 yards and four touchdowns on 14 carries in an 83-49 playoff win over Tigard (Ore.).
