Garden Plain extended their winning streak to nine on Tuesday, bumping them up to 23-5. They came out on top against the Medicine Lodge Indians by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Owls: when they faced off against the Indians back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Reese Stuhlsatz paced Garden Plain's offense, picking up ten kills. Stuhlsatz got some help from Jaicey Stuhlsatz and her 16 assists. Lylah Zoglman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for Medicine Lodge, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 29-3. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Medicine Lodge still got an impressive performance from Emery Shinliver, who had 13 digs. Shinliver has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Garden Plain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against McPherson on the 11th. As for Medicine Lodge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cheney on the 7th.
