Softball Recap: Washington Academy Raiders vs. Mount Desert Island Trojans
Washington Academy came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Mount Desert Island Trojans, falling 7-0. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Washington Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Academy will host Foxcroft Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Desert Island, they will be playing at home against Old Town at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday.
