Basketball Recap: Dryden Gets the Win

On Monday, the Dryden Cardinals didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Parkway Christian Eagles, but they still walked away with a 39-35 victory.

Dryden's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Parkway Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dryden won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North Huron at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Huron's defense has only allowed 24.9 points per game this season, so Dryden's offense will have their work cut out for them. Parkway Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy at 6:30 p.m. on February 21st.
