Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They won by a set and slipped past the Collegiate Cougars 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on seven straight dating back to last season.

Autumn Schwartz paced Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's offense, picking up 14 kills. Schwartz got some help from Ryann Owensby and her 16 assists. Finally, Nadia Jastrzemski kept Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Timberlake Christian on the 22nd. As for Collegiate, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against St. Catherine's on the 22nd.
