Warrensburg can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 84-51 win over Fort Ann on the road. Given Warrensburg's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while Fort Ann is ranked 759th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Steve Schloss continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 36 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. Brady Cheney was another key contributor, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 2 assists.
Meanwhile, Whitehall earned a 69-61 win over Hadley Luzerne on Friday.
Warrensburg is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Whitehall, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3.
