Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greater Cabarrus S). They breezed by the Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots to the tune of 94-61 on Friday. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Ashton Arrowood, who posted 24 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Patrick Oldham, who earned 18 points.

Surry HomeSchool lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ian Schuyler, who had 19 points. The dominant performance gave Schuyler a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of John David Bunke, who put up 15 points.

The victory (which was Greater Cabarrus S's fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for Surry HomeSchool, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-21 record this season.

Greater Cabarrus S has already played their next contest, a 72-37 loss against Carmel Christian on the 4th. As for Surry HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-60 defeat against South Charlotte on the 3rd.
