Moore Haven took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They took their match with ease, bagging a 56-8 win over the Glades Central Raiders. The Terriers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Leading Moore Haven to victory were Sa'Nyree Myers and Preslynn Baker. Myers went 5 for 12 en route to 16 points plus six steals, while Baker dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Myers' evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Charisma Micco was another key player, scoring four points plus eight rebounds and eight steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore Haven and Lake Placid will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Glades Central, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Santaluces at 6:00 p.m. Glades Central will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
