Fort Defiance proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by six) and last Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand Stuarts Draft a 1-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Fort Defiance were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Riverheads got the win against Buffalo Gap on Thursday by a conclusive 8-0. Riverheads haven't had any issues with Buffalo Gap recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Riverheads' win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Fort Defiance, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8-2.
