Recap: Riverside Christian Wranglers vs. Bell Bulldogs
This season hasn't been kind to the Riverside Christian Wranglers, who are still winless after their 14th match. They were the victim of a rough 47-21 defeat at the hands of Bell on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Riverside Christian has suffered since December 4, 2023.
Maddie Smith was her usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with nine steals for Bell. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smith has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jodi Waddle, who scored two points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Riverside Christian's loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-14. As for Bell, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bronson at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
