Football Recap: Massaponax Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Massaponax's offense. They were dealt a 30-0 defeat at the hands of the North Stafford Wolverines on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Wolverines are ranked 24th).

Kenny Pyatt threw for 103 yards on six of ten attempts. Declan Ta'Amai was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards. On the ground, Joe Sanders rushed for 79 yards on only seven carries.

Massaponax moved to 3-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for North Stafford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
