Volleyball Recap: Knightstown Victorious

Knightstown lost to Tri back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Knightstown was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 20-25, 25-18.

Knightstown can attribute much of their success to Peyton McDaniel, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs McDaniel has posted over her last six matches.

McDaniel wasn't the only good server: Knightstown was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. The Panthers are 7-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Knightstown's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Tri, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Coming up, Knightstown will be playing at home against Cambridge City Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri, they will venture away from home to square off against Waldron at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
