Basketball Recap: Liberty Christian Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

Liberty Christian won the last time they faced Christiansburg, and Jisaiah Bryant did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Liberty Christian Bulldogs' way against the Christiansburg Blue Demons on Monday as the Liberty Christian Bulldogs made off with a 70-48 win thanks in part to Bryant, who went 7 for 13 en route to 20 points. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Ryan Jackson, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 10 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave him a new career-high.

Liberty Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Christiansburg, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Liberty Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-26 victory against Amherst County on the 28th. As for Christiansburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 66-60 loss against William Byrd on the 29th.
