Carlisle lost to San Augustine back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Indians managed a 27-22 victory over the Wolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Antonio Ibarra was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 170 yards and two scores, and also threw for 95 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Elvis Hernandez, who rushed for 81 yards and one TD.

Despite the loss, San Augustine still got an impressive performance from Andrew Nash, who rushed for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries. Nash didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made six total tackles.
