Game recap: Arcata High School Football Team tops Fort Bragg

FORT BRAGG, Calif. - Arcata (Calif.) snapped Fort Bragg (Calif.)'s 9-game winning streak, with a 26-7 victory on Saturday.

The Tigers were up 12-7 at the half after taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the second quarter.

Arcata expanded its lead to 13 points entering the fourth quarter. AHS scored two times in the third, including once on a Tyler Keil touchdown run.

With the win the Tigers extended their winning streak to 11 games. Arcata defeated the Mariners 65-27 last week.

Keil was the top performer for AHS. The junior running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 23 touchdowns on the season.



The Timberwolves' lone touchdown came on a run in the second quarter.

The Tigers came into the game allowing 16.3 points per game.

The loss comes after Fort Bragg defeated Piedmont 14-0 last week.
