Somerville and Revere are an even 4-4-2 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Highlanders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Somerville's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Somerville sidestepped Everett for a 2-1 victory. That's two games straight that Somerville have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Revere). Everything went their way against Malden on Tuesday as they made off with a 5-1 win.

Revere's victory bumped their record up to 8-2-4. As for Somerville, the win got them back to even at 6-6-5.

Somerville was able to grind out a solid victory over Revere when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
