Little Elm faced Brennan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Lobos enjoyed a cozy 74-58 victory over the Bears. Winning may never get old, but the Lobos sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Little Elm's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joshua Weems, who shot 60% from the field en route to 20 points and three steals. Weems is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kensington Candler, who went 7-for-17 to rack up 20 points and seven rebounds.

Brennan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Delano Tarpley, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Isaiah Ward was another key player, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 12 points and five rebounds.

Little Elm's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Brennan, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-2.

Little Elm didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-54 victory against Liberty on the 9th. As for Brennan, they have also already played their next contest, an 87-53 win against Sotomayor on the 9th.
